SP in Arizona – 1995

Back in February of 1995 I made a trip to Arizona and photographed both the SP and Santa Fe.

On 2-25-95 I caught the Blue Streak West with 7863/SSW 9635/SSW 9709/SP 7813 (B30-7/GP60/GP60/B30-7) near Dragoon, AZ.

Note that there is no “SP” lettering on the nose as the SP 7813 has.

03) SP 7813 E. Dragoon, AZ 2-25-95

SP 7813 was built in July of 1978. Note the different placements of the horns and bell between the two B30-7′s.  Later as I arrived at Tuscon, AZ near sunset the SP 7813 West was sitting just outside of town waiting to get in so it was set up for an easy photo.
